Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from the Kennedys!

This will be my final post of 2022. I wish you the happiest holidays, friends. Whatever holiday you personally celebrate, I hope it’s full of some love, hope, gratitude, and magic.

This has been my favorite holiday season of my adult life, and it’s because of these two little squirts right here. It’s true that creating the Christmas magic takes a whole lot of effort, but having the privilege to see December through their eyes has made it all worth it. Milo is very excited about Santa’s arrival on Christmas Eve, and Dayton has learned which ornament is his, and he pulls it off the tree, pushes the button to make it turn on and play music, and starts dancing to it. They are both so very precious at this age.

We’ve done some fun holiday activities as a family, and I’ve gotten to enjoy a few date nights with Nate so we can soak up the Austin holiday magic, too. I can hardly believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve’s Eve (or Christmas Adam, as we call it…haha) and Christmas is nearly here! Honestly, this is the first year in a while that I’m absolutely giddy with excitement for Christmas Day! Milo and Dayton are pretty excited too. 😉

I’m going to sign off from blogging for the rest of the year as I rest, enjoy time with the family, and plan for the year ahead!

Blogging has taken a bit of a curve lately. I’ve found that I really love sharing snippets of my life and blogging daily, and so this fall I’ve been experimenting with that. And while it’s not trendy or flashy, it’s very me and it feels so good to do something that I love in a way that makes me happy (rather than looking around at what everyone else is doing and scrambling to follow the crowd in a desperate way.) I love showing up here every day, and I’m absolutely astounded that so many of you meet me here every morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you for reading this blog and being a part of my life!

Ok, I’m off to get my house ready for a crowd! My family is going to arrive tomorrow for a long Christmas weekend. I can’t wait for everyone to get here.

I’m taking a 2 week break, so I’ll talk to you on January 9, 2022!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, friends!
