27 Healthy Austin Restaurants
27 Healthy Austin Restaurants

I’m finally bringing you all of my favorite healthy Austin restaurants for 2022 – yay! We have a lot of places for fresh, healthy lunches here in town.

I’ve somehow put off writing it until now… Why? I guess I thought it sounded a little boring, to be honest! But as I was thinking through the types of restaurants that I frequent, and if I take away the taco trucks and pizza restaurants, I realized that I go to lots of these healthy restaurants ALL THE TIME. Fresa’s is my jam. Sweetgreen is in Austin on South Congress and I’m obsessed. I’m at Soup Peddler weekly. I love lunch dates at Swedish Hill and Vinaigrette and Austin Daily Press. And the healthy brunch options at Elizabeth Street Cafe, Forthright, and Cafe No Se are phenomenal.

If you need a real meal (like lunch), I’ve found that ordering the Originator smoothie as a bowl is a great option. I’m forced to eat it more slowly, and the crunchy/fruity toppings make it feel more like a real meal than a smoothie with a straw.
