My Life Lately {Vol 4}

Hello, hello!

How are you this morning? Gosh, my home is so snuggly and cozy right now. I have instrumental holiday music playing on the HomePod, a Balsam Fir candle lit, and I’m sipping on the yummiest tea that I just got at TJ’s yesterday (Maple Espresso) and all is merry and bright.

Here’s a little peak at my life lately, if you’d like to see:

Milo is LOVING his swim lessons at Emler! (He was really excited about their purple tree and wanted to take a picture by it.)

Don’t forget, if you ever want to sign up your little for some fun indoor swim lessons this winter, you can use the code KELSEY2235 and the kind folks at Emler will give you a $35 discount! The code lasts through the end of 2022.

This little nugget and I went on a shopping date to look for an advent calendar for his big brother!

It’s ok, little one…Hobby Lobby is SUPER overwhelming to me, too…

Nate and booked an igloo at The South Pole at Hotel Van Zandt for a date night.

Charcuterie, holiday cocktails, and Christmas tunes on our own private record player. It was all so precious.

Nate’s cocktail had caramel corn as a garnish.

And then since we were already on Rainey Street, we walked down to The Stay Put, the new brewer on Rainey (in the building that used to be G’raj Mahal.

A haircut for this one. He usually requests for NO TV (because they don’t have Daniel Tiger or Mickey Mouse, which are literally the only two shows he will watch), but on this day he decided to give Cocomelon a try for the first time ever.

Clearly he was mesmerized.

^ When Nate cooks for me. (Swoon!!)

I’m playing in the pit for Ballet Austin’s performance of The Nutcracker a few times this month. It’s one of my favorite gigs!

On Saturday morning Nate and I booked a babysitter so we could go watch the US men’s soccer match. They lost, but we won because #9AMbeers.

And some breakfast tacos! Pueblo Viejo is parked at Meanwhile, and they are definitely not my favorite breakfast tacos in Austin…but they work in a pinch. 😉

An Autumn stroll on the boardwalk.

We took the boys to Kyle to see the lights in the city square. They are SO fantastic.

This little bench was Dayton’s favorite part.

He ran laps back and forth, back and forth, about 100 times and thought it was the funniest thing!

Grammy brought Milo a chocolate advent calendar. He asks for it first thing every morning!

Nothing like chocolate at 7 am!

And a nutella and peanut butter baby for your day.

Happy Wednesday, friends! I’ll see you here tomorrow!
