One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Austin just celebrated their one year anniversary, aaaaand they just launched their Saturday/Sunday brunch service!

^ They have a whole bunch of brunch cocktails that are on a special menu for morning sipping’. Think: easy floral aromatics, earl grey tea flavor notes, and fun takes on classics like Bloody Marys and Mimosas.
^ The Chocolate and Beet Muffins with Strawberry Jam were a show stopper! They were the very first thing I tried from the brunch menu, and honestly I could have left happy with just a dozen of these babies.
They’re warm and steamy on the inside like a soft hug, and the exterior has a little bit of a crunch. The chocolate is melty, and the strawberry jam is fresh and sweet.
I’m telling you – if Intero ever decides to offer these to-go, I’ll be there all the time picking up orders of them!
^ The Lemon Curd Danish with Garden Thyme was yummy, but it didn’t wow me in the same way as the beet muffins. Those muffins were a tough act to follow. 😉
^ This tasty little dish was a pleasant surprise! It’s the Farm Egg Zabaglione with Broccoli, Turnip, and Roasted Mushroom. Before eating it, I mixed it all together (per my server’s instructions) so that each bite contained a little bit of the soft, eggy custard, as well as the crunchy smoked vegetables.
Yum.
^ There are 3 Breakfast Paninis on the menu. I tried the house bacon, kale, ricotta, and onion agrodolce, on focaccia. Looking forward to trying the other two paninis.
^ Farro Crepe with duck confit, beet, hazelnut, and burnt citrus. Easily the most instagrammable thing on the menu.
^ Smoked Pork Sausage, creamy polenta, grilled kale, poached egg. One of my favorite dishes! I would order this one again in a heartbeat.
