Good morning, friends!
Quick fact about me: my name is Kelsey, and Iām obsessed with keeping my south Austin home sparkling clean.
No surprise to anyone who knows me well, but I love waking up in a clean home. I need the clear headspace that I get when my counters are sparkling, the house smells nice, and the clutter is cleared. I just get so much more accomplished in my day when everything is glistening.
Also, yāall know that Iām pregnant right now, and that has totally been a factor when I choose the products that I use in my house. I wasnāt always on the hunt for non-toxic cleaning products, but a quick google search was all it took to help me realize that I want to keep my growing baby boy away from harsh chemicals, even before he enters the world.
So I started noticing Art of GreenĀ® in the household cleaning products aisle at HEB (and I didnāt really think anything of it – itās a very inexpensive product, and I didnāt really bother to read the labels.) Then I started seeing a bunch of people on instagram using itā¦.and then Art of Green reached out to me and asked if Iād be interested in trying these cleaner, greener household products.
Friends: I love them!
Hereās what makes Art of Green so great for me:
- Theyāre 98% naturally derived, so theyāre better for me and better for our planet.
- They smell ahhh-mazing! The Lavender Eucalyptus is my favorite.
- There are no harsh or toxic chemicals in Art of Green. Itās a biodegradable formula and itās safe for sensitive skin.
- Theyāre inexpensive and easy to find at HEB. While most of us want a greener way to keep our houses clean, I think weāre often turned off by the expensive products that are only carried in specialty stores, which require an extra errand. Art of Green is awesome because I can just throw it in my cart while Iām getting food at HEB.
- They actually WORK. Please donāt give me a natural ācleaningā product that doesnāt clean. š Art of Green is able to get the grease and grime off dirty countertops without any problems, and theyāre tougher than other leading eco-friendly products.
- Note: Art of Green is NOT organic, but it is 98% naturally derived.
Art of Green is available in a Multisurface Spray Cleaner, easy-to-use Cleaning Wipes, and a Concentrated Multisurface Cleaner.
(Psst: if youāre reading this on the day itās published, July 11, be sure to head to my instagram account where Iām giving away these cleaning products so you can try them!)
3 Tips I Use To Keep My Austin Home Sparkling Clean
- At night before I go to bed, I spray down my kitchen counter tops with Art of Green Lavender Eucalyptus Multisurface Spray Cleaner. This spray will pick up all the food residue from dinner, any random cat hairs (ugh…Storm loves to jump on the kitchen counters), and it leaves the surface streak-free. When I wake up in the morning, everything is clean and clear and my kitchen smells lovely!
- I keep a pack of the Art of Green Cleaning Wipes under my master bathroom sink. Now, I really donāt want to deep-clean my bathroom every day (I just donāt have time for that), but I do like to give it a wipe-down in the morning after Iāve done my hair/makeup routine. The wipes are quick to pick up the grime. Iām telling you – even if you donāt clean the shower/bath/floors every day, wiping off the bathroom counters is such a game changer!
- I spray just a tiny bit of the Art of Green Multisurface Spray Cleaner on a rag, and I run it over the shelves/tables/furniture in my living room to wipe up dust. I donāt do this every day, but if I notice that the house is looking dull, this quick 60-second tip is an instant face-lift! (Plus it makes my living room smell fresh; I kinda big into the way my house smells, not just how it looks.)
If you want to try out Art of Green for yourself, head to their website to find the product in a store near you. And if you live in Austin, just head to HEB and pick up Art of Green in the cleaning aisle!
