I took my littlest love on a Christmas s shopping trip to the mall.
He is SO sweet, and I always savor the one-on-one time I get with him. (Milo had a playdate with Grammy and Papa, so I got some solo time with Dayton.)
We went to Barton Creek Mall, which is (surprisingly) the only indoor shopping mall in Austin. And while it lacks the glitz and glam of the Domain, and it’s certainly no Dallas Northpark (geeeez I love that mall!), it has the 90s mall nostalgia of my childhood, and I actually love leisurely roaming around with my baby during the holiday season.
I’m NOT a Starbucks drinker (truly can’t stand the taste of their espresso) but I always get a peppermint hot cocoa during the month of December. Again: so much nostalgia wrapped up in this little drink.
This was Dayton’s favorite part of the morning. We stopped and played for about 30 minutes.
Run, baby!
^ I took the stroller in the elevator and pointed him toward the glass windows so he could see the giant tree and the big display where Santa was sitting and taking photos with children, and this was his expression:
Ha. It’s a lot to take in. I get it, little babe.
Christmas has been SO much fun this year with my two little boys, and I have a feeling that the fun is just beginning. I’m soaking up these days.
XO. Have a fantastic Tuesday!
Such a cute day 🙂 I am truly obsessed with the Starbucks festive drinks!
