Do you love finding good coffee shops for a laptop work session? Or maybe adorable Austin coffee shops for a caffeinated meetup with a friend? Perhaps you’re just a coffee aficionado and you love scoping out the very best coffee in each city you visit? Whatever brought you here, I’m confident that my guide to the 50 best coffee shops in Austin will direct you to the perfect shop. Here’s the funny thing: I was actually just creating a spreadsheet for myself with all of my favorite coffee shops in each neighborhood in Austin. (Major dork over here..) That way, I could reference it easily every time I wanted to choose a coffee shop. But I realized that this list is actually golden and needs to be shared, so here ya go!
About me: I’m an Austin local who loves exploring the coffee shops in this town. I’ve probably spent way too much money on coffee drinks. I have two babies under two, so I’m FOR SURE over caffeinated these days to compensate for the lack of sleep. And while I love the process of making my morning pour over at home (measuring and grinding the beans, gently pouring the gooseneck kettle and watching the coffee bloom, smelling that first whiff of hot, black coffee…it’s my morning therapy), the afternoon cup is typically out at a fun Austin coffee shop. There are so many great ones to explore, so let’s dive in.
About this guide: I’ve organized this list of the best Austin coffee shops by neighborhood. Click on the part of Austin you’re in, and you can see several options in that part of town. Or, scroll through and browse the photos for general coffee shop ideas. I’ll also include the coffee shop address and a link to their website. Leave me a comment at the bottom with any specific questions!
